Tikal (Tik’al in modern Mayan orthography) is one of the largest archaeological sites and urban centres of the pre-Columbian Maya civilization. It is located in the archaeological region of the Petén Basin in what is now northern Guatemala. Situated in the department of El Petén, the site is part of Guatemala's Tikal National Park and in 1979 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tikal National Park, we are visiting the following locations:
Complex Q, The Central Acropolis, South Acropolis, Great Plaza, Temple IV and finally the Lost World Complex. After our sightseeing, we transfer to restaurant within the park to take the lunch.

Tour starts at a pick-up point in Flores in Peten.
Our representative will transfer you to the Tikal National Park.
8:00 a.m. - Start our transfer to Tikal, duration approximately 1 hour.
9:00 a.m. - Start of the guided walking tour.
1:30 p.m. - Lunch in a restaurant inside the park.
3:30 p.m. - Departure from the park to the airport/bus/hotel. (if time permits we will visit the island of Flores)
5:30 p.m. - Return to the Mundo Maya Airport, to the bus station or your hotel accommodation.
